Awesome oceanfront views and direct beach access. The pool wasn't heated, which was a letdown. Enjoyed the evening bingo and free S'mores by the fire pits.

The beach access is a highlight, making it easy to build sandcastles. The staff is super attentive, always with smiles, and the food? Delicious from breakfast to dinner.
The room situation? A bit messy with no daily cleaning unless you ask.

The cabana room gave us direct access to the pool, perfect for our granddaughter! The ocean view from our room was stunning, even with the cloudy weather. Tom at the bar whipped up the best grilled cheese – you have to try it!

The ocean view was nearly breathtaking. While the rooms were clean and well-appointed, the promised balcony was misleading. Staff varied; while some, like Dylan and McKayla, exuded warmth and professionalism, a few others lacked in cheerfulness, which felt off-putting. The breakfast was delightful, and the amenities, such as fire pits and access to the beach, added charm. parking issues arose during a busy event. Waiting for a car amidst chaos was frustrating. Communication regarding late check-out could be improved as well. Despite these bumps, there’s potential here. With attention to training and service consistency, experiences could truly shine. Focus on the guests. It matters.

Just minutes from the iconic Daytona International Speedway, our family enjoyed thrilling races and interactive experiences, making unforgettable memories. The convenient location allowed us to explore Daytona Beach's sandy beaches, golf courses, and dining spots easily, adding extra fun to our vacation.
For dads, it would be great if there were more children's activities available.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the pool and beach were enjoyable. We loved the entertainment provided by Todd Bogue and the excellent service at the bar by Clinton. The cabana area was well-equipped with a TV and fan, providing a nice spot to relax just steps away from the pool.
We were disappointed by the cleanliness issue in the cabana area, where we found cocoons on the walls. This made us uneasy, given the higher cost of reserving a cabana.

The room was cozy and well-equipped for our family of three. The bed and couch offered exceptional comfort. I loved the vanity outside the bathroom for added convenience. Our ocean view was beautiful, but the balcony didn’t have the expected seating. Temperature control worked perfectly, maintaining a pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay. Noise levels were an issue with loud housekeeping staff outside our door, despite the do not disturb sign. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the complimentary s'mores kit but felt there were some areas where attention could be improved.

The room itself was spacious and had a nice sitting area to relax in, which I really appreciated. The balcony was a great touch, offering a lovely view of the surroundings. The location of the hotel was perfect, allowing easy access to the beach which was a huge plus for me. On the downside, I did notice a few areas that could use some improvement. The room had a slight odor, and the mattress cover had a noticeable stain, which was a bit off-putting. The overall cleanliness of the room could have been better, as there were some issues with dirt on the floors and stains in the shower stall. the limited restaurant menu and lack of room service were a bit disappointing, especially when craving a late-night snack. I must say, the staff at The Shores were incredibly nice and helpful. The valet service was prompt and efficient, making our stay much more convenient.

The room was newly updated and had an amazing view. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the complimentary s’mores by the fire pits.
It wasn’t the least expensive option, but the experience was worth it.

Had an amazing stay for New Year's. The location was spot on—everything you need right there, from delicious food and snacks to beach access. Plus, the friendly staff made everything extra special. The bike rentals were a great way to explore the area, and the tiki bar by the pool was a favorite hangout spot.
Some rooms need updating and maintenance. Water drainage issues, ceiling holes, and rust were noticeable.

Enjoyed a luxurious vacation with a chic coastal dining experience overlooking the Atlantic. The terrace offered a beautiful ocean view, perfect for events. At the iconic golf club, I had a blast practicing my swing and sipping on creative cocktails.
Mold in the shower wall? What a delightful surprise!

We loved the ground level cabana room with ocean views and sunrise stretching. The staff was wonderful and the location was fantastic, just steps from the beach.

My friends and I had a blast catching epic music gigs and hilarious stand, up comedy just a short drive from the hotel. We even hit up the famous Daytona 500 track for some heart, pounding action! Plus, all the hotspots in Daytona Beach were right at our fingertips for non, stop fun!
Just wished there was a livelier nightlife scene closer to the hotel for some wild late, night shenanigans with my crew! .
